ABOUT

“To me, design is about creating spaces that not only look beautiful but also resonate with the people who inhabit them. I believe that well-designed environments connect with our essence, influence how we feel and live every day, and give us the freedom to enjoy life more fully.” – Luisa Ramírez

These experiences have been incredibly enriching, allowing me to meet people from diverse backgrounds and learn about different cultures. They have helped me develop a greater understanding of others and strengthened my empathy. My top priority has always been—and will continue to be—my family. I am proudly Mexican, born and raised in Mexico. For the past seven years, I have been living in Philadelphia, PA with my husband and our three daughters. One thing about me is that I love nature and draw inspiration from it.

Since graduating from college in 2000, I have primarily worked on designing cinema complexes for my family business. I have been involved in full architectural projects worldwide, serving as a team leader. Currently, I am responsible for design and innovation on a global scale for my family’s business, Cinepolis. I studied at La Salle University in Morelia, Mexico, where I also completed my high school education. For elementary school, I attended a Catholic school in Morelia. I have been fortunate to travel extensively and study in Europe (Switzerland, England, Italy, and Spain).
